How is this different from other eczema treatments?

Does the Eczema Precision Hydrogel contain fragrance?
The Eczema Precision Hydrogel is fragrance-free. We avoid known irritants in our formulas and use rigorously screened, cutting-edge ingredients with proven track records of both gentleness and efficacy. You may notice a mild, naturally-occurring scent from the amino acid methionine. Methionine is an antioxidant that helps maintain the stability of our patented TPZ-01™ enzyme while protecting the skin from free radicals and supporting the skin barrier. Rather than covering this natural scent with potentially irritating synthetic fragrances or chemical masking agents, we choose to keep our formula as streamlined as possible to minimize irritation. Methionine's scent is completely normal and should quickly fade as the formula absorbs into your skin.
Where can I apply the Eczema Precision Hydrogel?
The Eczema Precision Hydrogel can be applied anywhere externally on your face or body where you’re experiencing eczema symptoms, including eyelids. As with all our products, this formula is safe for use around the eyes, dermatologist approved, and accepted by the National Eczema Association (NEA). We recommend applying liberally to itchy, irritated, or dry skin, or anywhere you typically have eczema flare-ups.
As with all new skincare products, we recommend doing a patch test before first use, especially if you have very sensitive skin or known allergies. Apply a small amount to an area like the inside of your wrist or behind your ear, wait 24 hours, and check for any reaction before applying to larger areas or your face.
How do I use Hypothesis products in my daily routine?
We recommend using our Eczema Precision Hydrogel with our patented TPZ-01™ precision enzyme at least twice a day (morning and night), but more often if needed for additional soothing. Our Precision Healing Spray with TPZ-01™ is a convenient spray format designed for quick application to hard-to-reach areas or on-the-go use throughout the day. It can be used as a standalone soothing spray, or used in conjunction with our Eczema Precision Hydrogel for a double dose of the TPZ-01™ enzyme. Our Eczema Therapy Cream is a moisturizer designed to work in tandem with the TPZ-01™ enzyme, and can be used after the Precision Healing Spray or Eczema Precision Hydrogel to seal in additional moisture. Apply the Eczema Therapy Cream any time your skin needs immediate hydration or skin barrier repair.
How long does it take to see results?
In clinical studies of the Eczema Precision Hydrogel, most users saw initial improvement in their eczema symptoms within a week, with best results after 2–4 weeks of twice-daily use.
